The GoatIndia community is a place for farmers to learn from each other, ask questions and share experience. A few simple rules keep it useful, safe and welcoming for everyone. By taking part in the forum you agree to follow these guidelines.

Be respectful and helpful

• Treat every member with courtesy — new farmers are always welcome.
• Keep discussions on topic and constructive.
• Share your real experience; help others as you would want help.

Do not share personal contact information

For everyone’s safety and privacy, do not post phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers, email addresses or personal social-media contacts in posts, replies, signatures or profiles. This protects members from spam and scams. Our system automatically masks contact details, and posts that share them go to moderation.

No spam, scams or aggressive selling

• No repetitive promotional posts, referral links or off-topic advertising.
• No unverified "guaranteed profit", miracle-cure or get-rich claims.
• Report anyone asking for money or contact details off-forum.

Be careful with health & financial claims

Community advice is helpful but not a substitute for a professional. For sick animals, always consult a qualified veterinarian; for loans and investment, confirm with your bank and District Animal Husbandry Office. Do not post specific medicine dosages as fact.

Keep content clean and lawful

• No abusive, hateful, obscene or illegal content.
• Post in a way others can understand; avoid misinformation.
• Respect others’ content — do not copy-paste without credit.

Moderation

Moderators may edit or remove posts that break these rules, and repeat offenders may be restricted or removed. If you see a problem post, use the report option so moderators can act. Questions about the rules? Reach us through the contact page.
